Hiroshima City International House (I-House) was established in 2001 to provide comfortable and safe living space for foreign students. I-house however, is not only the living place but also the place where we offers unique experience in cross-cultural exchange among foreign students and people in Hiroshima. We believe the mutual understanding through intercultural communication is crucial to promote world peace in the end. Eligibility Requirements-Who can apply to live at I-House? | Single room Graduate or undergraduate students studying in any university, college, or advanced vocational school established under the School Education Law in the area of Hiroshima City. Applicant must be qualified as a foreign student under table 1-4 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. Family room Qualified applicant (see above for qualification), applicant’s spouse and/or children can apply family room. Family members have to live together in the same house. Resident eligibility is needed for all family members. |

■The I-House lounge can be used for small meeting. Desks, chairs and panel exhibition are available to use to promote discussion and communication among students

■The main hall can hold up to 230 people.
The main hall can be used for party, presentation or any other events to promote international communication. Audio equipment, video projector and stage are available to use in the main hall.

■The I-house kitchen room has four sets of cooking tables with ovens. You can use this room to promote intercultural communication through cooking.

■The capacity of training room is 150 people. The training room can be used for conference, exhibition or presentation etc. Audio equipments including microphone and video projector are equipped. The training room can be divided into 2 or 3 small rooms via movable partition based on your needs.
